CEIP Manuel Altolaguirre is a high-need public primary school located in Málaga, Andalucía — a region characterized by a highly diverse student population, with a 22.4% foreign-born resident demographic. On a regional scale, Andalucía represents a massive educational landscape with over 1.2 million students and 150,000 educators already utilizing Google Workspace for Education (GWfE). Focusing on a cohort of approximately 90 students and 15 teachers across grades 4th to 6th, the Albus pilot serves as a regional model for utilizing digital tools through a balanced approach to address educational inequities and support engagement and instructional quality in education.
